NIKHIL MODAYUR
Head Coach
I'm Nikhil and I am a rising junior at Ingraham High School. I started Ultimate in 3rd grade and I haven't looked back since. Ultimate is truly unique in its inclusivity and positivity here in Seattle and it has been a privilege to share that with younger kids. I've played on Ingraham's JV boys and mixed teams and have worked as a elementary school tutor with Student Connections. I've been with Ascent since July of 2020 and it has been a transformative experience to watch the kids we're coaching improve not just as players but as people. Aside from Ultimate I love playing the cello, painting, and learning about neuroscience.
DARA JIMENEZ

Hey I'm Dara! I'm 16 years old and a sophomore at Ingraham High School. I have been playing ultimate for the past two years and I'm currently on the Ingraham Varsity co-ed team. I play all sorts of sports including varsity track and even cheerleading! I love being outdoors year round so I also coach snowboarding and I wakeboard during my free time. What drew me to ultimate was the level of teamwork and communication on the field and that's what I'm always working to emphasize.
HANK BUTTLEMAN

I'm Hank and I am a rising junior at Ballard High School. I have been playing Ultimate since 3rd grade and I currently play on the Ballard varsity boys and mixed gender teams. I have done some coaching with Eagle Staff middle school sixth graders and have been a part of Ascent for the past year which has been a great experience. I am always excited to teach new people Ultimate and I am excited to be able to contribute to the community in Seattle. When I am not playing or coaching Ultimate, I enjoy playing the guitar, basketball, and hanging out with friends.
CALVIN DODGE

I'm Calvin and I am a current sophomore and rising junior at Ingraham High School. I have played on both Ingraham's JV boys and mixed gender teams. I’ve been playing Ultimate for about 6 years and before the pandemic I helped coach my younger sister's elementary team. I love working with young kids as a teacher to help them learn about the sport and also just goofing around with them in general.
