Each year the International Brain Bee is based on a number of books and resources which competitors should learn by heart. Though the competition usually begins in February a few extra months of study could make the difference between only making it to the second round and getting to the championship.

This year the books used will be "Brain Facts" and "Neuroscience: The Science of the Brain". A downloadable PDF of "Brain Facts" can be found on the Brain Bee website. The first qualifying rounds will be mostly question and answer, but later competitions may involve diagnoses and use of lab equipment.

Good luck and happy studying!
